Well, this does look like a dark piece... but I'm not trying to make it one. As I have said with a few of my other things, this has a high level of interpretational value in my opinion, so I won't explain what I was thinking when I made it; symbollicaly. I will say that this was meant to have a them of hope and good, not despair and evil. The brushes used here were made by Shadow GFX.

It seems to me as though you are trying to present the idea of beauty/good overcoming evil, hense the ladybird apparently walking away from the bloodshed.
Either way, this is a lovely piece.
Very vibrant and eye-catching, great use of negative space. Well done!
