I was walking downtown when I looked up and saw this sight... which struck me. I don't know why but I got a kick out of how this building was peeking up in the middle of these other two... almost like a younger sibling peaking his head up to make sure he gets in the photo. I guess this is how my mind works... I see human traits in non human items. Thought it looked pretty cool though.

Hope you enjoy this one, and I promise this is probably the last piece I'll submit for a few days so I can get completely caught up with my inbox. Hehe.

Thanks for stopping by!

I think I'll just add my watch for your gallery and leave you be for awhile. I'm sure you've got enough stuff to read by now anyway. Pardon my silliness. :)

Wow dude, the red/black colour combination is stunning. Makes the building look really evil!

The coloring is really beautiful in this photo. I'm also really impressed how you can take something inorganic and present it to us as something that could possibly be organic. There's a lot of variety in the photo as well, despite them all being the same objects.

Thanks so much, your compliment here means a lot to me. I go for exactly what you noticed... trying to take something inorganic and make it feel alive... so it makes me so happy to see you recognize that. Thanks again!

I'm impressed by the fact that this shot makes me feel more oppressed and claustrophobic than does "Un-Space", even though the other image is completely enclosed. You've once again captured the sky beautifully -- I'd love to know your secret someday, BTW. (Am I just cursed to live in Florida, where every day is a sun-shiny, zip-a-dee-doo-dah day?)

Having the building lumber overhead like that is a very, very neat trick. That you got the side of the building well-lit the whole was down is more impressive still. Again, there you go controlling the sun. :-)
