Before anyone asks... I'm gonna answer a question you might have. No this is not doctored or mirrored. It is an actual photo... the two buildings are just identical. (This makes for some fun architectural photography :D) Anyway, I'm really pleased with the visual effect achieved on this one. As the title suggest; it created this sense that there was some vortex sucking both buildings towards it.

If you look at the trees and clouds you can tell it's not mirrored. But that makes it fun.

While the main feature, the buildings, look identical the smaller ones, like clouds and trees, don't. It gives a sort of surreal feeling which is awesome :)
